[Performance characteristics]

Epoxy-modified silicone oil is a linear polydimethylsiloxane with epoxy functional groups at both ends. It has the characteristics of superior lubricity, softness, high and low temperature resistance, aging resistance, and low surface tension. Because the terminal group contains active epoxy groups, it is often designed as a reactive modifier of organic resins (especially epoxy resins), and is also an important intermediate raw material for block polymers.

[Product Usage]

1. By reacting with the epoxy group contained in the end group, the characteristics of silicone are introduced into the organic resin, especially in the epoxy resin to enhance toughness and reduce internal stress.

2. The important intermediate raw material of organosilicon block polymer is the key raw material of a new generation of ternary copolymerized silicone oil softener for textile printing and dyeing. Its finished products overcome the yellowing, non-hydrophilic and broken There are three major disadvantages such as milk sticky rollers.      

3. Used as a softener and smoothing agent for cotton, wool, silk, linen fabrics and products.

4. It has good affinity to fibers and fillers, and has the effect similar to silane coupling agent, which can increase the interfacial bonding force and improve the strength of composite products.

5. Broad-spectrum tackifier for addition-type silicone rubber, very effective for tackifying aluminum and glass.

[Dosage]

Addition amount of resin modifier

5-10%, for the textile industry, it needs to be emulsified into an emulsion with an emulsifier in advance, and then formulated as a 1% padding or dipping solution for use. Other applications are subject to trial.
